Longing, Hope and $$$

This sweater is everything I want to be and feel this fall, with its organic meets manmade textures, and almost borderline scandalousness with a rough flap of shearling pinned to the shoulder. Still, what a statement piece. @Etsy.

I’m not going to lie. This is one amazing, death-defying, magical unicorn of a headband. I honestly feel a twinge of pain realizing that it will never, ever be mine, because it costs a cool $172. Yup, the day I pay that for a headband…well…that would never happen, I’m afraid.

I’m hardly the first girl to lust after the Alexander Wang Brenda bag…And equally hardly the first to lament the price tag…

That’s why I was over the moon when I found this Alexander Wang inspired bag from Friis Company from Denmark, with a far more easier price tag to swallow. 

Apparently I never get tired of shoes. I’ve been on a major clog click this summer, like the rest of the female population, but its never too soon (at least for me) to start thinking about the next season, in this case, fall. It’s rare that I can appreciate whimsy in a shoe-but these are the perfect blend of classiness and edge that I would pair with everything. And get this: they are handmade.

One of my favorite online shops, Oak, based in New York City, recently revealed a brand new in house line, a-ok, which is not only amazing but totally affordable-all the pieces are under $100. I am crazy about this tuxedo top in gray!

My kiddo just turned 13, and this item caught my eye-I do like Dogeared jewelry (if not famously overpriced for what it is) and this was a bit edgier than their usual fare. Comes in a number of finishes, but I thought the silk thread was a nice touch.

Madewell is best known for staples like jeans and tees, but the jewelry is pretty cool too…I love the way this necklace looks like drops of shiny candy, and sparkles like the sea…perfect summer piece that would look great with a tan!

How cool and cute are these? I’m a sucker for silly undies. From Britnix, available in several color combinations (I’m also partial to the red cross on the bum!)
